Russoul1 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 hi all, just seen a nice copy go up in offers, just got me wondering in what order this 45 goes in respect of rarity and value by label variation....im thinking both the vocal release and instrumental versions russ
Guest smudgesmith Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I think red copy with "Each Time" on the flip has to be the rarest one Russ
Dobber Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I think red copy with "Each Time" on the flip has to be the rarest one Russ I thought it was ' blow out the candles' on the red issue? Also which copies have the sidras theme on them, because for me,that is the only reason I would want the record, any of the songs with there vocals on are dreadful! 1

Also which copies have the sidras theme on them, because for me,that is the only reason I would want the record, any of the songs with there vocals on are dreadful! It's the Instrumental (Sidra's Theme), that has "Blow Out The Candle" as the flip - yes, the issue would be red. Cheers Mick
Premium Stuff Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) "Sidra's Theme" is on #9007. "Blow Out The Candle" on the flip. Issue is red. Sidra #9006 was"Each Time" with the first release of "As Long As You Love Me (I'll Stay)" on the other side. This is the vocal to "Sidra's Theme". This was on a red issue. Rare. "As Long As You Love Me (I'll Stay)" was released later on #9011 with "Step Into My Heart" on the other side. This was the later label design with the blue/green and black design issues. Cheers Richard Edited February 7, 2014 by Premium Stuff
Scal Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 "Step Into My Heart" is as good as some of the old blue eyed revived stuff of recent times.... e.g. Paul Anka "When We Get There." 2
Russoul1 Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 I think red copy with "Each Time" on the flip has to be the rarest one Russ this is the copy I have, think without looking red sidra 9006, the last copy I saw for sale was on here pete smith sold a copy £200+? which went pretty quickly
Dobber Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I ain't heard ' each time' it isn't on YouTube.
Russoul1 Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 I ain't heard ' each time' it isn't on YouTube. if you don't like the vocal on - as long as you love me, then forget this side.....lol
Premium Stuff Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) I ain't heard ' each time' it isn't on YouTube. Similar to their other ones. Nothing to rave about. I have a copy and if I have done an MP3 I will let you know (P.S. I did and have sent you a PM with the MP3) Cheers Richard Edited February 6, 2014 by Premium Stuff

Davenpete Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 The red issue of ALAYLM has a rare B side too doesn't it - Carl Fortnum used to play it - different from Blow Out The Candle on the demo (which I always liked anyway). Dx
Guest Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Has anybody ever seen Sidra's theme on a pink Sidra label and anybody know what Sidra 9001 and 9002 are? TIA

TIA There was no Sidra 9001/9002. That number in the Sidra number series was used by Team Town #9001/9002 - Ronnie & Robin "Cradle of Love"/"Dreamin' ", just as W.I.G. Records shared Sidra's number series. I never saw any of those Team Town or W.I.G. Records show up on a Sidra pressing of those numbers. Here's Team Town 9001/9002: Edited February 10, 2019 by RobbK
Davenpete Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 (edited) Am I correct in thinking the Robin was the Robin in VIP group Rick, Robin and Him? Dx Edited February 10, 2019 by DaveNPete
