Impact Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Hi folks, I have recently heard a stomping bit of northern with the same backing as Martha Reeves - Nowhere to run but cannot find any information on it, any ideas?? Many thanks in advance ATB Stew
Robbk Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 So what is that song called? Was it recorded at Motown? It doesn't sound like a Motown vocal. Was it a "ptrate" stealing a Motown track and using it? What was the story of this recording?

Zamali is a Belgian dj/producer - one of those who remixes and creates their own beats using samples, overlaid instruments and rhythms. There might even be a real instrument in the mixes, somewhere. There's a bit of background here courtesy of the label Timewarp music, which has released his stuff: https://timewarpmusic.org/zamali.html He has a SoundCloud channel here where you can listen to many of his tracks/mixes - if you want to: https://soundcloud.com/zamali

Part of the backing track from "Nowhere To Run" and I believe the vocal from a Basement Jaxx track
