Mal C Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Its a fabulous 45, one of my favorites... Think Benji sold a Stateside demo in here some months ago, which was really nice. If I see copies I always buy them to sell on, last one took a while to sell which was a surprise. Maybe reflects the change in tastes of the last decade.. It featured on Kent's 1st Mod Jazz CD Fantastic info Sir..........I was listening to one of the Mod Jazz comps on spotify last week.......fantastic I often stick spotifyi on at the moment if i am doing work in the house. Funny with Jimmy Witherspoon, I think I bought moneys getting cheaper when I was 15 I have "Hey mrs jones" on reprise and the fantastic "blues is now" on verve with the great version of "gonna move to the outskirts of town" Totally overlooked this cracker over the years, but that's just collecting I suposse..........

It featured on Kent's 1st Mod Jazz CD And before that it was on the Black Music is Our Business Kent LP. The whole "Spoon in London" LP is worth buying. Many great tracks incl "Man don't cry" which is LP only.
