Dave Rimmer Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 (edited) Joann Courcy - I Got The Power - Twirl Promo £917 Expensive Brooks Bros. - Lookin' For A Woman - Tay £1052 Cheap Explain that ? Edited June 29, 2006 by Dave Rimmer
Modernsoulsucks Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Well Dave, that is a demonstrative pronoun or adjective drawing attention to the person or thing either observed by the speaker at the time or understood, already named or in question. Now that's cleared that up, I agree Courcy according to Tim's guide is about £150 over whilst Brooks Bros is £148 under. With reference to another thread https://www.soul-source.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=30460 How come the 45 you have is always worth less, and the 45 you haven't got is worth more than you thought. ROD
Guest Dan Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Joann Courcy - I Got The Power - Twirl Promo £917 Expensive Brooks Bros. - Lookin' For A Woman - Tay £1052 Cheap Explain that ? more than one person really wanted courcy, probably only one person really wanted brooks bros (which is odd, cos it's a much better record).
Sebastian Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 The reason that the Brooks Brothers 45 went "cheap" on Manship's auction might be because another copy of this 45 sold on eBay yesterday for $2215 (about £1220). Check it out: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=330000134576

Mark Bicknell Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 I recently sold my second Joann Courcy a few weeks ago for £1,000.00 the first copy went many years ago for £275.00 (those were the days) so i was right on the money there with that, interesting it went to a guy in New York too, had Brooks Brothers as well and feel thats a good price for it. Swings and slides this record collecting lark.......but good fun...lol Regards - Mark Bicknell.
