I'm now the manager of Lagniappe Records in my hometown of Lafayette, LA.

 

The shop is just next door to the Wild Salmon Saloon, which offers live music regularly.

 

I've sold vinyl for years as an individual (here in town, locally at a small market)

 

Now it is my new job to manage a store that was closed. Vinyl rules.

 

 

Lafayette, LA USA is on the western edge of the delta south in zydeco territory. Festivals galore and the food is some of the best you can find.

 

There is a wonderful free festival in Lafayette each year in April, before the summer heat. Take a trip and come vinyl digging. New Orleans is just down the road.

ps: they serve boiled crawfish next door at that small shack in a drive through.
