This record is likely under most people's radar screens, but this is one to consider.
This is Minneapolis' first-ever R&B record, which features Maurice McKinnies, who was well involved with Black and Proud Records and other R&B, soul and funk projects and also features Morris Wilson, another Minneapolis chap whose records command 4 figures.
A couple of sites indicate this record came out in 1960 (and one early book about Minnesota music), but I have been told it came out in 1958, and this would make sense, as it has a foot in early doo-wop as well.
The record is being offered for $25,000 US or best offer, with clips and label scans as well.
The record is in (U.S. grading) VG to VG+ condition, much closer to VG+ than VG, with paper sleeve scans and no feelable marks. There is a catalog sticker on one side that should clean off just fine.
