It is also featured in his "rarest of the rare" gallery. Gritty R&B flavoured northern stormer, a bit like a female answer to Freddie Williams "I Got To Live While I Can" or something. * Emanuel Laskey - I'm A Peace Loving Man/Sweet Lies - Thelma M- £80 *Valentinos - Sweeter Than The Day Before - Chess M- £150 *Ronnie Marks - Some Lonely Heart - Fania M- (slight warp NAP) £60 *Soul Brothers Six - I'll Be Loving You - Atlantic DJ M- £60 (Beautiful red and white demo in top condition.) * Cliff Nobles - My Love Is Getting Stronger - JV label looks VG+ small w.o.l. WDJ is rarer than the coloured label styrene DJ copies + it is solid vinyl. * Volcanos - Your Number 1 - Arctic WDJ M- £125 Top northern soul sound. Much harder to find than most of the Arctics you see sell for hundreds week in and week out. *Spyder Turner - I Can't Make It Anymore - MGM DJ M- £125 *Dells - Run For Cover - Cadet M- £60 * Little Herman - Gotta Keep On Walking - Gina M- £50 Great early sounding northern. * Roy Hamilton - Earthquake - Epic M- £100 (Rare issue copy complete with nice picture sleeve in EX. Would be £150 on most major dealers lists. Great early 60's northern from the man with the voice.) *Pic & Bill - Talk About Love - Soul Record + pic sleeve, M- £80(The much rarer french "SR" release with good sound, the more common Belter euro issue has very poor and muffled sound. The US Charay release is very rare. Manship has this French copy for sale at £200) *Joe Hinton - Got You On My Mind - Back Beat M £80 *Le Frank O - Keep On Gettin' Down - MM-M Gold M- £40 *Billy Butler And The Chanters - Can't Live Without Her/My Heart Is Hurting - Okeh WDJ M- £50 (My fave 45 on the label I think, and a hard 45 to find. Two superb Classic Chicago 60's soul sides. The WDJ is vinyl, not styrene like the issue) * Joe Murphy - So Blue/It's A Weakness - Vivid M £30 (Two superb northern soul sides, one up-tempo dancer and one superb mid-tempo finger snapper. Backing vocals by the Dells.) Edited June 28, 2006 by Guest
