Premium Stuff Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I saw that mate and thought WTF. It books at £20 in Manship Guide. How gullible people are to such sales patter Cheers Richard 1
Premium Stuff Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Same title, different song Didn't know that Pete Is it any good? The song on Modern is brill Cheers Richard
Premium Stuff Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 (edited) Nice one mate. Well spotted. Richard Edited December 17, 2013 by Premium Stuff
NEV Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Same title, different song And feckin awful at that eh Pete 2
Soul-slider Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 It is actually the same song as the one on Modern but a Jazz version by the sounds of it.
Mrtag Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 After listening to a sample I can easily understand why it looks unplayed!! Why Would you? 1
Tony Smith Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Has the person bidding $103.50 heard it??
Stockholmsoulfox Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Same song, same artist, nice looking label but truly shite...
Soulsider Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Has the person bidding $103.50 heard it?? I think there's going to be one heck of a disappointed winner. I can't see how the winner would have any come back on this either in terms of being "deceived." The seller has not explicitly said it's a different version but then why would he need to? The sound files are there. Surely no-one is actually bidding for this knowing what it really is? Are they?
Mrtag Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Has the person bidding $103.50 heard it?? If he has Tony he must be tone deaf
Pete S Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 It's an "adapted" version of the Modern track, it's not the identical song. Then again, which came first? I had this record about 14, 15 years ago, believe it or not I sold it really easily despite giving a warning.
Denbo Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Backing track reminds me of this... It does, doesn't it.
Guest CapitolSC Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 The thing is the Soundfile is thereso whoever bought it bought it because they liked it.Its not just all about Northern Soul you know.Id pay 20 quid for it nice Jazzy groove goingAl H

Pete S Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 And the same label as The Rock - An Asprin Would Go Crazy.........which has the Can it be Me backing track. Good work Steve!
Marc Forrest Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 its definitely not a 45 you see every day. I sold this along the other version to jm roughly eight years ago for about half of what it did fetch now,
