A beautiful copy of a real gem of a 45. Some say THE best version of this unforgettable song. Instant floor filler and simply magnificent!
Flip it for another Crossover dancer this time with a funky edge.
An incredibly rare disc in lovely condition.

UNFORGETTABLES (BAGS & BEANS) - TRUST YOUR LUCK (SAMONE) VG+  £375  SOLD
San Antonio, Texas for this relative unknown and only around 3 known copies, of which this appears to be the best condition. 
Bags & Beans is the printed group name but Unforgettables is stamped above as if they couldn't decide on their name!

DARONDO - HOW I GOT OVER (OCAMPO) M-  £275  SOLD

Monster tune for many a top DJ. 

 

NATHAN WILKES - STRANGE FEELING (TRAGAR) VG+  £250  SOLD

Storming funk edgeddancer featured on many playlists.

 

MY CHILDREN + TWO - MAGIC WORDS / FLY SO HIGH (MAGIC) M-  £250  SOLD
From the band that became Kool & Together comes this extremely rare 'deep with a beat' masterpiece. So very hard to turn up in good condition. This is M- with a tiny warp nap. Perhaps the best condition copy out there.

LUTHER DAVIS GROUP -  YOU CAN BE A STAR / TO BE FREE (LIFETIME) VG++  £225  SOLD
Classic Modern soul but still so tough to find. This copy has the label address scratched out which was to deter people tracking down copies back in the day. Vinyl is unblemished.

EGYPTIANS - THANKS TO YOU (SOUL SAUCE) M-  £225  SOLD
Wonderful Sweet soul with tremendous harmonies.

EULA COOPER - TRY (TRAGAR) £200  SOLD
Totally uplifting Crossover from this iconic lady. Wax looks VG+/+
few scuffs but plays EX as you can hear above. Most copies come trashed. Big spin for those that have it.

ALFRED O - DO WHAT YOU WANNA DO / A VACATION FROM LOVE  (MO DO) M-  £200
Marvellous, gritty, super soulful dancer out of Buffalo NY.
Collectable and classy 45 comes with a the great deep flip.
M- copy with 'plug' written on one side presumably by a radio jock.

WEST COAST MC'S - LOOKS GOOD ON YOU (C/UP) VG+ £175
Only seen a couple more copies of this obscure 70's on their own private label. Currently covered up.

Two highly In-demand Crossover tunes. Top drawer stuff!

Magnificent atmospheric dancer out of NY with a funk edged dancer flip too. Two dance floor slayers on one disc.

ROY SIMON - I'M WAITING ON YOUR LOVE (PAPER MOON) M-  £150
Unknown? 70's self produced West coast dancer.

ROTATIONS - SEARCHING IN VAIN / I CAN'T FIND HER (DeBROSSARD) M-  £125  SOLD
Recent big spins for 'Searching in vain' in that funk edged vein
and of course flipped with the classic Northern/Crossover side.

Huge demand for this great Crossover 45.

RON PATTERSON - STORY BOOK / WE'RE GONNA MAKE IT (VENICE) M-  £125  SOLD
Two ultra classy mid-tempo 70's sides. All-time favourite for me.

NOMBRES - TRIVIALITIES / TODOS (BETH) M-  £120
Original 1972 version of this funky powerhouse dancer finding favour in the more forward looking clubs. Nice latin dancer on the flip too.

BOBBY JONES - WELCOME BACK A FOOLISH MAN / LOVIN' HARD LIVIN' GOOD (KACK) M-  £120  SOLD
Two brilliantly unique raw & emotional dancers. A must have 45.

INDIGOS - THE REST OF MY DAYS  / FAR FAR AWAY (WILDFIRE) M-  £125  SOLD
I have been plugging this great early 70's dancer for a while now. Great production and harmonies. Nice group flip too.

YOUNG DIVINES - DEEP IN YOUR HEART / I'LL SHOW YOU WITH LOVE (NEW LONDON INTERNATIONAL) M-  £120
From the Tragar/Note stables comes this classy dancer from '77. This is the rare 1st local label release.

PEACE LOVE & HAPPINESS - AIN'T NOTHING BUT A LOVE THANG  (ABAB) M-  £100
Seriously Soulful mid-tempo in pristine condition. One time Sam spin.

NICK ALLEN - HARD WAY TO GO / DON'T MAKE ME BE WHAT YOU DON'T WANT ME TO BE (WALAS) M-  £100 
Two incredible sides and a firm favourite here at the fish bowl.
The flip just slays me everytime. Immense 45.

JOE MCKEEVER - DANCE WITH ME (A.M.S) M-  £85  SOLD
Really surprised this is  not big yet although some top DJ's have been spinning it for a while now.

Quality Crossover and Sweet soul sides.

Lovely lilting latin Soul 45. Recently on a Manship auction.

CHOLLO RIVERA & LATIN SOUL DRIVES - I COULD NEVER HURT YOU GIRL  / BLACK & BLUES (COTIQUE) VG++  £75
More gorgeous mid-tempo latin Soul. Tough dancer on the flip.

HARVEY AVERNE BAND - LOVE NEVER STAYS THE SAME (FANIA) VG+ 
Oh so classy latin Crossover.  A few light marks only.

SUGAR PIE DESANTO - MY ILLUSIONS (SOUL CLOCK) M-  £75  SOLD
Another from the play box. Superb haunting Northern/Crossover dancer from Apr 7 1970 it says stamped here. 

ROSS-HUNT - DISH IT OUT (VANESSA) M-  £55
Obscure but catchy up-tempo 70's dancer out of St. Louis.
Not many have or know this.

LEE SAIN - LOVING AND LIVING (LOVE CLUB) M-  £85
Rare mid-tempo obscurity. Only ever seen two copies.

ULTIMATE OVATION - DEEP DOWN IN MY HEART / MOUNTAIN OF LOVE (ULTIMATE 1999) VG  £60
Very tough one on the label. Dancer from 1977.

FABULOUS PERFORMERS - THINK ABOUT IT  / OH HOW YOU HURT ME (BLACK JACK)  VG+  £65  HOLD
Not aware of this funk tinged dancer being played yet. 'Tis a great dancer! Got the classic Sweet flip too.

THREE SHADES OF SOUL - BEING IN LOVE / SMOOTH SAILING (ENJOY) M-  £65
Two top notch Crossover dancers.

PACESETTERS - LOVIN' (FANTASY) M-  £75  SOLD
Such a classy Modern mover and a bugger to find!

FOUR CORNERS -  MAD ABOUT THE GIRL / DON'T SEND ME AWAY(JEWEL) VG  £50
Two great Ohio Sweet Soul sides in less that impeccable condition but playable and still a rare one.

EL ANTHONY - SWEET JO-ANN / WILL YOU WAIT  (STAR-VUE) VG  £50
Another lesser condition 45 but plays very well due to good vinyl press. Two great Chicago Crossover sides from 1972.

ELEMENTS OF LOVE - HOW COULD YOU / LET'S TRY MAKING LOVE (BROWN DUCK) VG ++  £50  HOLD
Ted Daniels & Paul Smith on duty here with this funky edged 70's dancer and superb mid-tempo sides. Small water damage to labels as most have.
