Pk 22dj Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 We must be the most loving, caring followers of music so why we can't make this happen across the UK is beyond me. Thank You Paul Kidd
Pk 22dj Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Hi to all, Just to say thank you to all who turned up to make last Friday night a big success, we raised over £1350 on the night for Lung Cancer in the name of al our Soul Sisters and Brothers who have sadly passed away. I'm asking all soul promoters to follow our lead as we will be doing it all again next November, and I cant se why you cant put aside any thought of making money (not that most do) and get the same thing going in your town. The rules are. 1. Use your regular local venue that will give you the room for nothing as its for charity, If not Fuck them off and find one that will as it will be there loss on the night. 2. Use only local DJ's and split them during the night to give them all a decent chance, they will do it for nothing if not get DJ's that will and never use them again (unless they have a VG excuse). 3. Pick your chosen local Charity or one main one that effects most of us. 4. Print your tickets and get them distributed locally on a first come first served basis, with no one paying on the night. Mark my words everyone will enjoy the evening knowing they've played their part no matter how big no matter how small. 2
