i've got

Mckinley Mitchell  / you know i've tried on one-derful & chimneyville

and there defo different cuts, one-derful is more r &b than the other which sounds like it's been dumbed down a bit

chimneyville is a later label i think than big 3 or wonderful.

big 3 issue was first and i still think its a £30 tune regardless of ebay fluctuation.

I've had both the Big 3 and Chimneyville issues of "days got bright" and they are the same mix/cut/recording or watever you want to call it. Big 3 release came out in 1976 with the Chimneyville following it in 1977. I have to agree with JNixon that the Big 3 release is a £30 record tops.

"trouble blues" is also the flip of the Chimneyville release.

Great tune btw.

forgotten about this flip - now playing at home every day....might get a spin on Sunday -what a tune

haunting synths make it for me. kind of tradition meets modernity.
