Someone asked me this morning if there are many soul records recorded in 3/4 or Waltz time.

Can anyone think of any? I'm scratchin' me head here to think of one!

Another tune in 3/4 is "Long, Long Winter" by The Impressions (b-side of "Amen", I think).

Thanks for that. You've got me thinking there may be some other Impressions recordings in 3/4.

Falcons: "I can't help it" is 3/4 all the way through.

Take it the 3/4 is 3 beats then 4 beats sort of thing, similar to a 4/4

Actually, it's that it "hits" 3 times out out of a four bar measure.
