Kev Cane Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) Lordy lordy, incredible once again, we got there at 12, you can see why by the playlist, we daren,t miss a record, the lads excelled again, they always choose the right guests aswell who bring something else to the party, all being soulful of course, really hard to pick a record of the day but if pushed Hard Tymes-I ask a question played by Mark, with the exception of Just Soul and the Jim Wray lounge, you will not here stuff like that anywhere, awesome, just like the whole day (BTW, the real ale is getting better and better, think me and Mike Lofthouse drank a full barrel) Kev Edited October 21, 2013 by kev cane 3

Mike Lofthouse Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Yes fantastic playlists - stayed from 12 until 19:30 - that says it all. Special mention to guest Mark Houghton who played a first class set. It's a great way to spend a Sunday although I tend to drink a little too much when in the company of the Aycliffe lot - which I will be doing again next Saturday at Just Soul !!!! 3

If you set off from Oz on the friday before the next one on Dec 15th gives you enough time to get over the jet lag to enjoy Oh, and bring John Phillips with you Kev Edited November 19, 2013 by kev cane 3
Popular Post Missgoldie Posted November 20, 2013 Popular Post Posted November 20, 2013 Kev, sadly I can't afford records and overseas travel. I'll be playing with John Phillips at the Gold Coast weekender in January, boy does he have some records! 4
