Tricky Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Might be having a senior moment here but chatting away with Cliffy Steele recently about this tune and we couldnt remember seeing an issue! Is this Demo only? or do i need to eat more fish oil? Yours Confusedly Tricky
Colsoul Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 (edited) yes seen a issue , but very hard to find, people before the issue was discovered hoped for the flip to be in the same style as l.h.j.u.t but was a previous known release, col Edited October 22, 2013 by colsoul
Steve Edgar Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Regarding the Demo. I have two demo's of this. One has "Love Has Joined Us Together" on both sides, the other has "Show Me The Way" on the other side, and this cut is different (longer, with a great intro) then the "Show Me The Way" that came out on Venture 633 Steve 1
Guest Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Great Detroit sounding underated record. I have seen an issue, but the demo is much easier to find.
Manfromsoul45s Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 yes tricky dear..Issues a bit harder to find but what an underated, underplayed 45..
Derek Pearson Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 File under long time tape-swoppers favourite. On virtually every other tape that dropped through my door during the nineties this was on it. And rightly so. Love the one-two note saxophone fills dotted throughout the record. Gotta be Mike Terry working the East coast. Perhaps, maybe? Derek x https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM1iLlQKQAw
Quinvy Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 It really does sound like a Detroit recording, fabulous record.
