Please join me on dublab.com, Wednesday 23rd October @ 2pm US PST (10pm UK time), for the next installment of the Divine Chord Gospel Show, pt. 29 and for a 2 hour special of 45's of Fury dedicated to the hard hitting raw soul spins from the northern soul scene.

As ever, we'll be digging deep into our crates of rare gospel 45's and LP's to bring you some previously unheard and undocumented raw soul recordings....sometimes tunes getting their first spin to the general public. An hours worth of uptempo funk offerings, deep soul heart wrenching tunes and finished off with a modern soul crossover extravaganza!

For those of you that missed the last show, which was documented by the DUST & GROOVES crew, here's the mixcloud link;

Also, please feel free to explore and subscribe to our youtube channel featuring some of the choicest 45's to be played on the show.

And this month, we have a very special extended 45's of Fury show planned....2 hours dedicated to the heavy dancefloor spins from the northern soul sceme. This months special guest selectors are DJ Bywell, Nancy Yahiro and Andy Cobb.

DJ Bywell is a Laguna Nigeul transplant by way of Leeds UK, and has been a devotee to the soul scene all of his adult life. He attended the infamous Wigan Casino Allnighters for 5 years solid and trod the boards hard whilst picking up so many quality tunes in the record bars. He's DJ'd at Brighouse and the Peacock, Leeds in the UK before moving to the United States, where he's DJ'd various venues around Los Angeles, as well as arguably the best weekender in the US, the Seattle Soul Weekender.

DJ's current top 5;

1. Daybreak 'I need Love' (PAP)
2. John Leach 'Put that woman down' (Lawn)
3. Eddie Daye & the 4 Bars 'Guess who loves you' (Shrine)
4. Nurons 'All of my life' (Nu-ron)
5. Voices of East Harlem 'Cashing In' (Just Sunshine)

Nancy Yahiro is a native of Los Angeles and has been collecting records and DJ'ing around the globe for years. Her penchant for finding rare records is uncanny and has a collection to boast of that rivals anybody in the scene. She used to run various soul events around LA before spending time out in Italy for a few years, DJ'ing everywhere except Torino. She's played venues around the UK too including the Lowton Allnighters and guested on Richard Searling 's radio show.

Nancy's current top 5;

1. 21st Century 'Shadow of a memory' (Noel)
2. Saints 'I'll Let You Slide' (WigWam)
3. Karmello Brooks 'Tell Me Baby' (Milestone)
4. Differences '5 Minutes' (Mon'ca)
5. Showmen 'Action' (Amy)

Andy Cobb is a Norwich UK boy born and bred, and moved to LA almost 15 years ago. His first foray into northern soul was as a 17 year old, hungry for the nighter bug and that rare soul fix. He's attended clubs like the Norwich Backstreet Soul Club, Stafford Top of the World, the Kings Head Mansfield and the 100 Club....and he's had the pleasure of DJ'ing around the UK and US at venues including the amazing Seattle Soul Weekender and recently a turn at his alma mater, the Backstreet Soul Club.

Andy's current top 5;

1. Jesse Johnson 'Left out' (Old Town)
2. Toni and the Showmen 'Try my love' (Ten Star)
