Bo Diddley Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I thought that the USA and Euro versions were different. My copy is german/french. Again, I thought that the USA version was a type of live recording and the Euro one's were studio recordings. I may be talking complete rubbish (not for the first time!) - in which case I'll apologise in advance. Cheers Kev Bod

Cheers Kev Bod The German CBS 3720 releases seem to be the version most folks go for, this was on either multi-color or black vinyl. There is a really stripped down and tinny version on a French CBS 3098 release with "Uptown" on the flip, then there's the U.S. Columbia release that often get's called the live version, It's also available on the 33rpm 7" U.S. juke box EP and the 12" album "Time has come today". Take ya pick...................... https://www.divshare.com/download/17121820-ae4 <<<<< FRENCH CBS 3098 https://www.divshare.com/download/21760537-280 <<<<< GERMAN CBS 3720 https://www.divshare.com/download/13949043-ec1 <<<<< U.S. COLUMBIA REALEASE (live version) https://www.divshare.com/download/16925452-97e <<<<< U.S. 33 rpm JUKEBOX EP
Soul-slider Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 If you play the German & US release one after the other they sound almost identical except for the US version they have added a sort of 'live' atmosphere....

Soul-slider Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 (edited) As promised in the PM Paul, here's a scan. Click to enlarge and have a good look at the vinyl. EDIT: Obviously the vertical lines are the scanner and NOT on the record. Edited October 12, 2013 by Soul-Slider
