Mal C Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) Just listening to 'Closer to your Heart" this morning, love this track, love his voice, but who was J.T. Carter? credits read Jay Carter, so I guess thats him, and the 'T' is a second name... other than that I know nothing about him. Mal. Edited October 5, 2013 by Mal.C.

Craig W Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Lead singer with the Crests i think Wasn't Johhny Maestro lead singer of the Crests? I'm sure he was.
Craig W Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 I assume J T Carter was on backing vocal on this beauty. What a voice Johhny Maestro has. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28PH49HCzDs
Steve G Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) Wasn't Johhny Maestro lead singer of the Crests? I'm sure he was. For a while yes but then they went their separate ways...by the early 60's...Some Maestro records appear with JM and "The Crests" although in reality they weren't there......it was a source of friction between Maestro and the remaining Crests.
