who was responsible for raymond smith, cause at the same time was trieste,s version of the anderson bros on the same label, also a pretty good record by frankie floyd, always thought at that time (70,s) that frankie floyd was another version of a monster sound at the time, but no ,it was just a quite good 45 on that label,

Yeah,never thought of that 'coincidence' before - sounds highly suspicious

Why wouldn't they be coincidence, there are numerous 60's examples of another version of a record. I can see him lovin you, was a NY recording so was the Trieste version, so there was a good chance someone who was involved with the Anderson Bros thought it had milage as a song. 7 Day lover was on William Bell's label quite high profile in Black Music terms, so chances of other versions was I say quite high.
