Dear Sir/Madam.

Hello, my name is Ivor Game, I am a friend of a lady called Joan Komlosy who wrote a Northern Soul record called "Love Feeling" and sung by Val Mckenna.

It was popular at The Wigan Casino at the time, around 1973, played a lot on Radio One then and had a profile all of it's own.

I have a CD of it, and I wondered if you know of the song and can if anyone can consider including it in any of your nights, and help the record circulate again ?

Please let me know. It would be great for Joan to see the record fly again. It's a great dance record.

All the best,

Ivor.

If you have postal address I can send the CD.

Or I could create an MP3 if there is enough interest ?

Hello Ivor,

The problem is that the type of 'pop' sound that 'Love Feeling' was is not in vogue or popular anymore (generally) on the Northern Soul scene. Some might say it should never have been played in the first place. I would say it would be very doubtful if it could be successfuly reactivated on the Northern scene.

That's a terribly diplomatic way of putting it, Jordi!

I remember Brian Rae spinning this at st Ives....... To be honest, it's no worse than Gary Lewis, interplay, Bobby Goldsboro and the likes.
