Mark B Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Is this the same cut as the album, more modern sounding
Steve Plumb Posted October 2, 2013 Author Posted October 2, 2013 Is this the same cut as the album, more modern sounding That's the one Mark, cheap as chips but sounds a million dollars! Actually, it was a fairly big record on its release in 1980 on the old 'jazz funk' scene I bought the LP as an import back-in-the-day from Spin Inn I have it on US 'Tec' LP, UK 'EMI' 45 & UK 'EMI' 12" but I'm looking for the US 'Tec' 45 Cheers Steve

Steve Plumb Posted October 2, 2013 Author Posted October 2, 2013 hi , this is version is the german issue , with long version on the flip, I didn't know you could get nearly 7 mins on a 7", https://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=2429893&ev=rb Oh I'm liking that BUT you're right 7 mins on a 45 is crazy - seen it a few times and always fooks the sound up cos the grooves are too close to each other - that's why the 12" was invented But lovely to see a German EMI copy and still nice to have for the 3:44 version - nice one
Flanny Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 anyone got a spare tec copy for me if Steve is sorted thanks
