Craig W Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Ebay is like a fiddlers elbow if you're selling at the moment but when you score you really score. Look at this what finished tonight. Whats the true value of this ? About £10.00? https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Northern-Soul-Origin...1QQcmdZViewItem

Craig W Posted June 13, 2006 Author Posted June 13, 2006 I'll take one for a tenner ..........................or are you saying its a boot? I dont think it was booted. Got my US Drew copy off Ebay for a tenner.
Pete S Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 It's worth £20 to £30. You're thinking of If This Is Love which is the cheaper one, I think. Such Misery has always been harder to find, despite it being AN INFERIOR VERSION OF STEMMONS EXPRESS
Gene-r Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I thought Such Misery was about £50, and the white demo about £150. My white demo came from Ebay a few years ago for $40!

Guest Dan Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 i'd always thought it was a 50 quid record agree with pete stemmons express the better version. i always think it would make a great film sound track record, the stemmons express one, probably a scene in an airport (for obvious reasons)Precisions.mp3
Guest Stuart T Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 agree with pete stemmons express the better version. Me too, I'd ignored it and left it in the back of the record cupboard for years then heard it at Crossfire and it sounded the dogs wotsits. Must dig it out. Think the Precisions is great too though.
Modernsoulsucks Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 The DJ copy of Precisions went for £75 on Ebay in last couple of weeks ROD
Guest Matt Male Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 (edited) AN INFERIOR VERSION OF STEMMONS EXPRESS That cheered me up ...eh? You're serious...? Edited June 13, 2006 by Matt Male
Guest Stuart T Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 That cheered me up ...eh? You're serious...? The pop pickers are in the house tonight Bit unfair to call it inferior maybe?
Steve Edgar Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 STEMMONS = AWESOME POP ! Agree! Precisions is AWESOME SOUL imo

My white demo came from Ebay a few years ago for $40! £150 for a demo -- are you sure? I bought my demo copy some years back for I think $20 -- never thought it was worth that much more than the issue?

Pete S Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 I love being the odd one out.........Precisions is far better, Stemmons is pop sh*te No you're in the majority. We usually get slagged off for saying Stemmons is the better version
Richard Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 The seller ain't doing bad with the Lou Ragland he's selling as well, I only got £30 for a nice mint white demo on ebay about 6 or 7 weeks ago
