TONE PS: Managed to avoid breaking the "taboo ton" for the first 30 years of collecting records, then bought my first two £100 tunes in the space of a fortnight, in the early 90s. They were: Melvin Moore - All Of A Sudden Tony Troutman - What's The Use ...sadly they have proven to be just the first two of far too many, as far as my bank balance is concerned... I started at the Jag when i was 18 in 1984 and was on the same wage as men with families and mortgages but living with my parents and apart from a bit of board no commitments at all. Unfortunately i wasn't interested in collecting, just going out, dancing and taking gear... Mates of mine were collecting, so why wasn't I? I can't believe i was so shortsighted. If only i'd known then what i know now... As a single bloke on a good wage why i wasn't i taking record hunting holidays in America? I can't understand what i was thinking... M.
