They were: Melvin Moore - All Of A Sudden Tony Troutman - What's The Use ...sadly they have proven to be just the first two of far too many, as far as my bank balance is concerned...

At the same session turned down a copy of JD Bryant on Shrine for £45 ... thought it was too slow and was only earning 40 quid a week back then. Lucky for you though Eh! Ted

I started at the Jag when i was 18 in 1984 and was on the same wage as men with families and mortgages but living with my parents and apart from a bit of board no commitments at all. Unfortunately i wasn't interested in collecting, just going out, dancing and taking gear... Mates of mine were collecting, so why wasn't I? I can't believe i was so shortsighted. If only i'd known then what i know now... As a single bloke on a good wage why i wasn't i taking record hunting holidays in America? I can't understand what i was thinking... M.

It was on one of Pat Bradys weekly mail lists. I didn't have a home phone at the time, so legged it to the nearsest phone box, but Pat said someone had just beaten me to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
