Heard this for the first time a few months back.  Does anyone know the value of it, or if it's rare / one-off / common etc?  I've searched and, apart from a clip of both sides on YouTube, found nothing else on it.

I remember Derek Pearson gave it a mention in Shades of Soul in the early '90s.  Derek - if you're out there, maybe you can shine some light on it for us please?

Cheers.

Thanks for that Ricky.  Perhaps it's safe to say that it does turn up, and goes for around £12 - 15.  Great stuff - I wasn't able to find out anything on this, so well done!

It's quite a strange Vietnam record, narrated over someone playing "As Tears Go By" on guitar, complete with background sound effects of gunfire and explosion, but I really like it.

just an FYI, in the thread title you have "Lt Cpl" (implying "lieutenant corporal"? which doesn't exist) - LCpl in the USMC is "lance corporal." it's the equivalent of a PFC ("private first class") in the Army...

Considering the content of this 45, The choice of label makes me wonder if the artist choose this by design or by accident without any thought to any connection with the war?

He could of put it out on the Love label which would really of had me guessing!
