Does anyone know if it ever got played out anywhere?

No, I was listening through a few that I had come across, and I thought it was 'OK', not brilliant I know. But I have heard worse

heard it out a couple of times.... i know its a usa production but it sound like the playthings uk produced biddu stuff to me

Didn't know that was the flip. Equally horrid.

Sounds like a country style attempt at soul.Should be taken on a list for Desert Island Discs.And left there.

Did it get played out.? Probably Wigan,79 onwards when i stopped going.

another version by shirley eikhard on capitol, slightly better and did get played for a brief period on the scene.

I hope not - it's orrible. Nope - it's shite. That wouldn't even make it to the Eurovision Song thingy.

I have heard it played out probably once, thank god it was never

aired enough times to be "PLAYED OUT"  in the overplayed oldies sense.

I have only heard it played out once - early doors at the Mecca - easy to see (hear) why it didn't go on on to greater things....

A fantastic tune. The entire LP is great. Filled with Lambert/Potter tunes (also produced and arranged by them). Great version of "If Only You Believe" on the LP as well (same tune as on Chuck Jackson's LP on ABC). Pop music at its best.

She previously sang with Smith, also on ABC-Dunhill, that hit here in the States with their Janis Joplin-style take on "Baby It's You"...I believe Smith evolved from the Klassmen on Musicland USA.
