Guest BjornLate Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 (edited) I'm nearing completion on an app I wrote, mostly because I wanted such a thing when I'm out digging for records. I wrote an app for the new BlackBerry, z10 or q10. It's an app that contains the list of songs from the Northern Soul Top 500(+) and Randy Cozen's Mod Top 100. You can search the list to see if a song is in either. The songs are all grouped by label, with a zoomable scan image so you can get an idea what to keep your eye out for when you're out picking through 45s. You can add songs to your wants and owns lists. You can add your own songs. You can launch directly to the browser and search for a song on: Ebay Youtube Popsike Collectors Frenzy Discogs I think its a good pocket tool to find info about a record you have in your hands. It's also just fun to play with and nice to look at (I might port it over to android or IPhone, but it will take a while) Anyways, I'm looking for a couple beta testers try it out and let me know what they think before it goes up for sale. Britmusicsoulfan Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I'd be interested if there's an iPhone app.
Guest BjornLate Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I do plan to create it for Android/iPhone. Might be a few months. I'll post back here when I do though.
