NEV Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 UK tour starting in Feb ? I urge you guys to have a re think ? UK is not as maritime as Switzerland ! You do realise it will be winter and our roads will be paralysed with 1 inch of snow 3
Roburt Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 They'll be alright ........ AS LONG AS .......... the airports aren't closed so their flights are cancelled. That they don't go further north than Manchester (or head to snow bound Castleford), don't go on coastal roads (high winds), don't go on hilly roads (high winds, drifting snow), don't go on back roads (no maintenance or gritting / snow clearing), don't go on any roads before 7.30am or after 11pm (gritters / snow clearers off duty), don't go on motorways or city roads between 7am & 9.30 am or 4pm & 7pm AND dont even try to go on the M25. Apart from those few potential problems, they should be OK. 3

BigWheelsMainz Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Hello all, this is Seb, Henning's co-pilot for this trip. As you read in the first post, we're looking very much forward! I just want to drop in some more informations, as we moved on with our organisation: We'll start on Feb 15 by car in Frankfurt and maybe stop by in Belgium for a night, so probably we'll kiss british soil on sunday Feb 16 in Dover. From here on the plans are very flexible as we are very young and spontaneous... ;) we might take a bath on sunday in Brighton and drive on to Gloucester on Monday 17th, staying there as long as it's nice, heading M5 north to arrive in Nantwich on 22nd. About 24th we go back down south to arrive in London for Masters of Soul on 27th. We have to leave at march, 1st So, you might get a rough idea where we are, what time We're looking forward to meeting other record freaks, drinking beer, buying records and spining a few! Please get in touch if you're having the balls ;) Best Seb & Henning
