I'm surprised that I can't find a complete discography of prince phillip mitchell on the web -- e.g. there's not one on John Ridley's site. There is a random one here, that even includes one of the checkmates 45s on halt:

Is there a complete one somewhere? Also, can someone tell me if this specifically is phillip mitchell:

The backing singers sound white at least. Thanks in advance.

I think it's a good chance it is Bob, but nothing definite

Both sides of the Lollipop 45 written by Kenny Smith and Cecil Pawfeth

Kenny Smith was from Cincinnatti (not born there) and Phillip Mitchell from Louisville (only about 90 minutes away)

As I say, nothing deffo

I have a vague memory of attempting this discography, and giving up because there were so many gaps in the info I had managed to assemble together. Of course now, when I'm looking for it, I can't find the stuff I had put together. Whilst nowhere near complete it would have made a good starting point for other SS'ers to add to.

No doubt someone at Kent compiled a comprehensive list of his songs when they had this project in preparation .........

Guess there are demos by him of the majority of the songs he wrote down the years.
