As for Ace/Kents "Soldier's Sad Story" there is a companion to it "Does Anybody Know I'm Here"

One of the most powerful records I've ever heard  if this doesn't get to you, then you shouldn't be on Soul Source.

Almost forgot Tony Mason - Take good care - RCA . Came out with picture sleeve of helmet wearing black GI. There's a You Tube video of this with about 30000 hits perhaps someone can add it. Not sure how to do it.

Eugene McDaniels "Compared to what" may have wrote this years earlier but when it was put into the track listing of Swiss Movement by Les McCann & Eddie Harris it was considered political criticism of the Vietnam war.
