Has anybody heard of this record??

I remember about 5 years or so ago hearing it at the 100 club, going mental for it and asking the DJ what it was. He showed me the record which i noted down and put on my wants list

been looking for it for quite a few years now, but wondering if i made a mistake with the title or something as can't find much about it

Any help??

If thats the other side of No quitting on Space

Then yes an old Andy Rix spin from the Scenesville day

Great track and hard to find

Bill Kealy has a copy which i think came from Andy Powell a few years back

It is one of my old spins from Scenesville days .... I purchased it blind from Frank Merrill in the mid 90s for about $8 on the strength of thinking 'No Quittin' was a pretty good 45.

I'd actually mis-placed it for a few years but found it in a box I thought I'd emptied

Gonna get even with you !

Yes it was my set at the 100 club gig a while back, it originally came off my mate Dj Andy Gill (Fakenham Norfolk ), i believe he got it off Jon Anderson (soul bowl).I believe both Andy Gill and Andy Rix have met before , not too sure who found the record first but it has been a big spin in Norwich since the late 80t's.

I think Ray Williams other number "No Quitting" was a big spin at Bradford years back by Nigel Parker (Boston Linc) (which came from Soul bowl too).

This is all i can remember to the best of my Poor knowledge.

I put it on tape for John Powney years back and then it popped up on a compilation tape being sold by Jon Manship !!!

That was the last time i put it on tape!!

I believe there are other copies out there but stuck in collectors vaults. Great record with a solid Sax break.

Never seen one for sale , so good luck ...

regards Frank Webster Norwich backstreet soulclub.
