Dave Pinch Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 i picked one up for about £30 a couple of years ago.... books at £100 on usa etah although its gotta be rarer than the usa label...
KevH Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 H Ray,you should have no problem moving this on.Only seen the Etah copy,so would imagine same/similar price.?
bri pinch Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqMsaE7V4Ls i certainly dig it 2
Dean Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I think this is rarer than generally thought on Etah, I was searching for a while to pick one up (thaks to SteveL for the text that put me onto one), never even seen one on columbia in the flesh (or in the vinyl so to speak). Must have spent 3 years looking on lists and name search on ebay, came across only 3 or 4 Etah issues during that time, one battered.
Chalky Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 It had some plays backin the 80's. I wonder if Columbia released it anywhere else or was it just Canada?
Raym Posted September 2, 2013 Author Posted September 2, 2013 Thanks guys for your input. I thought I might get a post or two from the 'Attic' guys!! Cheers, Ray 1
boba Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 weird that it got picked up in canada by columbia, did they do other nola records of the era?
KevH Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Thought i'd resurrect this thread.JM has a Columbia issue on auction of this.Still after a few years, relatively unknown.? Just right for now,as they say. 3
Dave Pinch Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 its a great record..and pretty rare even on etah...i had a tape with it covered up as willie tee... cant remember who covered it tho..got all the ingredients as far as rarity and quality.... not sure about how fashionable it is.. as that does count for a lot in the eyes of many
