Chantels - Well, I Told You (Carlton) Storming femme answer version to Hit The Road Jack, featuring an uncredited Ritchie Barrett doing his Ray Charles bit. VG+ £8.00 4. Ann Cole - Plain As The Nose On Your Face (MGM) Upbeat Ruth Brown style R & B (VG) - £20.00 5. Lonnie Brooks - I'm Not Going Home (U.S.A.) Groovy little Chi -Town R & B / Soul beater, mid 60s. (VG+) -£15.00 6. Bobby Bland - A Piece Of Gold (Duke) Definately a piece of gold, from the recently deceased Mr. Bland. Swaying upbeat bluesoul from the master. One of his best from the 60s! (VG) - £12.00 7. Buddy Ace - It Makes You Want To Cry (Duke) Very much in the Bobby Bland bag. Blasting horns, plus great vocal. (VG+) £8.00 8. McKinley Mitchell - Poverty (Malaco) Superb 1980 revival of Bobby Bland classic. (VG+) £8.00 9. Freddy King - Sittin' On The Love Boat (Federal) Fruggin' Ya Ya style R & B groover . (VG+) £15.00 10.
