my no.01 oldie at the minute,,,hear it this saturdaty at nottingham and keele the following saturday....monster tune.,...

Tried for this one earlier in the year but no one seemed to have one. Nice record but maybe not a lot of copies around. Heard it played on a Richard Searling radio show about 10 years ago by an American female record collector. Don't even know if it's on you tube which to me is an indication of it either not being known or is rare or maybe not classed as Northern soul. Good luck anyway and I'll watch this thread.

Best,

Ian

It is on you tube so there is hope??

Yes nobody knows every Northern Soul record, but the fact that I heard it all that time ago and only a few know of it now just indicates how the scene  has got stuck in a time warp. Well that's how it is in this area anyway. Same old Same old!! There are thousands of  bloody good records out there that so called d.j's wont play 'cause they're cheap!!

Great that is. Their 'for the sake of love' on kirk is pretty good too and also pretty unknown / ignored
