Carrie Cleveland - I Need Love / Make Love To Me (Audio Ent ISSUE) EX++ £180

Only the faintest marks on the wax and label to keep this copy of a Bay Area crossover / modern mega rarity from being NM. Came directly from Cool Chris of Groove Merchant who told me it was the last of his stock copies. 100 issue copies / 50 promo copies ONLY of this one, and they don't surface often. VERY conservatively graded!

Leonard Howard - I Got A Love / There's a Girl (Heres) EX++ £30

Very rare, under the radar midtempo bluesy stroller from Leonard Howard on his private pressed Heres label. There are two versions of this record, one with both these tunes on the A side and a two-part funker on the flip, but this version bares a different mix with sax and only the ballad flip. Seems to be this mix is the rarer of the two, though I can't confirm since there's very little info on it. "Not For Sale" scribbled in pencil on A side, a noticeable edge lift warp that does not affect play in any way. Soundclip of the proper mix with horns up on Manship's https://www.raresoulm...HOWARD,_LEONARD

Eddie Floyd - A Deed To Your Heart / I'll Be Home (Lu-Pine) WLP EX £30

Nice Detroit early Northern/R&B dancer on a cool white label promo. Seems to be a tough find, and doesn't turn up on demo too often. Seen on other lists at £50-100+ in lesser condition. "I'll Be Home" side has a small X, otherwise very clean!

The Toys - You Got It Baby / You've Got To Give Her Love (Musicor WLP) VG+ £30

A seemingly forgotten 1967 oldie double sider that doesn't appear to be on anyone's current sales lists. The "you got it" side is a nice midtempo girl group number while the flip is a pounding uptempo funk-edged stormer! Labels ain't bad and the vinyl still has lots of shine.

Witches & The Warlock - Behind Locked Doors / Same (Sew City WLP) EX £20

Excellent girl group dancer on a cool white label promo.

Barbara Randolph - I Got A Feeling / You've Got Me Hurtin' All Over (Soul) VG+ £15

Visually EX but plays a bit hissy with some groove wear throughout, and has one of those annoying metal 45 adapters lodged in the center that I dare not try to remove, so as not to ruin such a classy tune. Bargain?

The Jades - I'm Where Its At / Mother's Only Daughter (Ree) VG/G £12

Boot alert! However, a rarer boot that sometimes fetches well above this asking price. "I'm Where Its At" has two scratches in the middle of the disc that tick for about 15 seconds, albeit not too badly on my deck. B-side that you won't want to play anyhow is knackered. Grab a deal?

Harold Burrage - You Made Me So Happy / Take Me Now (M-Pac) EX+ £10

Nice little R&B edged moaner on a fantastic label. Small pen mark on "Take Me Now" side, otherwise clean as a whistle!

Sylvia Thomas - At Last / So Will I (Bamboo color label) - VG £20 (plays well above grade)

Jimmy Delphs - Almost / Don't Sign The Papers (Karen) - EX- dh £15

Rarer dark blue label pressing on vinyl, drill hole and one small mark NAP

Edwin Starr - Girls Are Getting Prettier / Its My Turn Now (Ric Tic) - EX- £10

Madeline Bell - Picture Me Gone (Philips light blue label) EX £10

Eddie & Ernie - The Cat / I'm Goin' For Myself (Eastern) - VG+ - £8

Eddie & Ernie - I Can't Do It / Lost Friends (Eastern) VG (plays GREAT) £12

Oscar Toney Jr. - Ain't That True Love / For Your Precious Love (BELL) - EX dh - £8

Jackie Lee - Your P-E-R-S-O-N-A-L-I-T-Y / Try My Method (Mirwood) VG - £5

Howard Tate - Glad I Knew Better / Get It While You Can (Verve) EX- £8

got my Carrie Cleveland from Cool Chris of Groove Merchant, god thats a while ago now, visited him in 2005,...and he had just got them in at that point.. reason it never was released was Carrie said she didn't like her vocal, but her husband Bill eventually sold the whole press on.

Happy days, good track

It is indeed a great track, a very reluctant sale but I have a big want to fund. So it goes...
