I want to get that original instrumental of Don't Pretend cut, can anyone recommend a quick and reliable service for getting carvers done, the last two I used in the UK, one took 2 weeks and the other cocked the order up.  I don't need an acetate, just a carver.

I used to use these people, but I'm sure they have a minimum order policy which is no good for a one-off disc.?

Timmion, turn round for me is usually five days. Proper metal acetate and better quality.

Don't need an acetate though mate, carver is fine.  Hence me saying I don't need an acetate in post one

they sold up but vinyl carvers is still going had a couple of tracks done about 2 months ago 4 day turn round

I think they sold the company on Pete....the guy that deals with it now is called Shane. They will do one-offs.

Yes, still going, they never stopped, apart from one weekend last year when they relocated their equipment. Still the same price too. I've had about 80 / 100 cut since the changeover. They generally seem to be fractionally louder than previously, but that may be down to my mastering.
