Found a pair of unworn Spencer's with sewn in creases, three down pockets, tunnel loops along with old Spencer's flyers, badges, and memberships. Brings back some memories eh?

Museum pieces mate , nice one   , I think one of my old pairs of Spencers went to good use and is now being used as the main tent at Billy Smarts Circus

Swifty

I remember when I found all the stuff I kept....................... better than the records at the time. pants, tops, photos, memberships, badges, flyers,  omg

Well these would make two tents. 30" waist, 45" bottoms.... Strange how they fit in leg length but not in the waist anymore. Better sell them to someone a bit slimmer methinks

That Brunswick badge is cool

Have you tried to get into those strides yet?

Richard

Hi Richard

I did just slip them on last night, or rather I tried. Although they've never been worn or washed the waist band seems to have shrunk

Fraid all mine went in the bin many many years ago

And mine also, had my wallet stolen with all my membership cards in it, thankfully not much money if any, can't remember now. Was more bothered about the cards than anything else !

Poured petrol on mine & put a match to 'em, about 1980. I think they represented everything that was wrong with the scene.

I love the Spencers flyers!

I confess to once owning two pairs of 40" bags: Airforce blue gabardine and Navy blue corduroys. My girlfriend at the time also had a Spencers full-circle skirt.

Thankfully, by 1980 I realised that I'd made a fashion faux-pas and invested in a pair of the 20 pleat 'Zoots' in a lovely shade of Aubergene.  :D

They did to me.

Kept all my memberships though, unfortunately not got a Wigan one, I was forever ripping them in two to give half to someone who hadn't got one.

in recent years topman has made a polo shirt with that on the chest along with the central soul club and something else I bought one off ebay for about a pound used, wouldn't normally wear anything like that but it is nice

Hey, I'm sure there's a good market for all this "reenactment" stuff. Perhaps you should run a stall at Blackpool or prestatyn weekender or one of thousands of similar venues on any given weekend

You just showed the front or the back, Mrs Woods never checked. Always intended to get the other half back from the person I'd lent it to, always seemed to forget though.
