ulyssees Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 O.k. to my mind the best looking record labels are USA Moonshot and Brunswick UK Verve Demo, Cameo Parkway issue No argument there then. Yule.
Mickjay33 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Red & White UK Motown demo, label to die for 3
Roburt Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 US ........ Windy C, Curtom, Gemingo, Bamboo, Checker (the blue label with each letter on a checker's piece), 20th Century Fox and yellow Stax UK ...... Cameo Parkway, EMI label demos, 70's CBS demos, Action, Soul City, Salsoul and People. Some great Euro label designs as well.
Ady Croasdell Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Keb's cut out porn cover ups-not. But educational if you were a medical student.
Back Street Blue Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Stomp Town Records for me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-jVxJAc3jg
Guest Matt Male Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 There are loads of great looking labels. Mary Jane, Lovelites, Shrine, Jamal, Magic City, Money, Deblyn, and Festival, are all better than some of those mentioned so far in my opinion.
Roburt Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 More nominations from me ............ US >> Westbound / Eastbound (multi-coloured label), Minaret, SSS Int, Revilot (light blue, red & orange label), Chelsea, Jetstar & maybe Fast Track (that combination of yellow background with light brown horses ain't great though) Brazil >> Som / Maior
Barry Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Red & White UK Motown demo, label to die for Do like the understated aesthetics of the Canadian releases too: I like Epic Demo's... Love the Atlantic A design.... I agree with the beautiful Brunswick design but I do get off on plain old title and artist labels: 1
Roburt Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 (edited) Yep, that Canadian Tamla Motown label certainly is a looker !! BUT still think the US Windy C is my personal fave ......... Edited August 13, 2013 by Roburt 1

TommieOnTheSpot Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I've always been a fan of a bit of 3D effect lettering, on a label! :-)
Simon T Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I like Monster Masters- Quick Quiz name the Van McCoy cut released on that label-and the artist. Ruby Jean - Empty Words ?
