souldennis Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 (edited) I have the pleasure to announce that some minutes ago, I posted an article on my blog concerning the album "I'll be loving you" by Ernie Fields. It is a brilliant album. I also mention the difference of the song "I heard you talking in your sleep" between the versions 45" and album. You can see here https://souldennis.blogspot.gr/2013/08/ernie-fields-ill-be-loving-you-lp.html Edited August 6, 2013 by souldennis
Robbk Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 That's a great cut. Is that the SON of Ernie Fields who was the house band leader and arranger for Cash/Money records from 1953-63, and also recorded for Imperial and Rendezvous Records in the late '50s and early '60s? He can't be the same guy, he'd be 80 years old now.
souldennis Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 Don't be confused with the saxophonist Ernie Fields Jr, son of the band leader.
Robbk Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 So THIS Ernie Fields is NO RELATION to the band leader I listened to in the '40s-'60s?
