Guest gfarrington Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 l thought he had sold one @ £1000 a few years back
Wicked Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 paid £2 for mine and sold it for a tenner, long time ago mind you. 1
Phil Shields Posted August 5, 2013 Author Posted August 5, 2013 l thought he had sold one @ £1000 a few years back He probably did, but his last guide says £750 Sold my copy about '89 for peanuts just thought it would be nice to replace it 1
Tricky Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Not easy to get a decent copy label wise as a lot came here stuck together. I bought a couple many years ago from a guy in London. He had them from Brownie i believe. Crying shame to leave most as hardly any label.
Premium Stuff Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Yes, agreed a hard record these days especially in decent 'collectors' condition. Love the flip side too - "I'm Gonna Make It" - does that ever get played out? Cheers Richard 2
Tricky Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Not enough in my opinion, great track. I have played it before but it definately could do with a push. 1

Guest Andy Carling Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7Msd9iobHw have given it the odd spin at the Horse and Groom in Doncaster, over the last few years That's the first time I've heard that, brilliant.
Premium Stuff Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 If you look at the label "I'm Gonna Make It" is also the official A-side of this disc Richard
Raresoul45s Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 I got £1k for the last one and it was M- with flawless labels and its worth every penny imo. I also got £850 for a VG++ copy in June 2010 Agree flip needs more spins. Darren
Pete S Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Although this is an unbelievably brilliant record, the hype is astonishing, it's worth maybe £400 and I know nobody would sell it for that nowadays but it literally doubled in price overnight about 8 years back, it was only 15 years ago that it was £30. So good luck to you people raking it in on this one.
