Hi everyone

I wanted a couple of hundred of these Mylar sleeves from Bags Unlimited for holding records in company or picture bags that I don't want to sleeve in the normal way:

However, they quoted me around USD $60 to ship them - plus they will declare actual postage - so I would have to pay import duty and VAT on top of that.

Anyone know of another source please that is similar quality?

I'm definitely looking for Mylar sleeves - not other options.

Cheers

Richard

polyester is a plastic. there are 3 types of materials the sleeves are generally made from, polyvinyl ("vinyl"), polyethylene, and polypropylene. vinyl sleeves are to be avoided at all costs as they offgas onto the records and ruin them.

mylar is a branded type of polyester that is recognized as the most archival and inert material that sleeves are generally made from.

Hi Richard

Weird... They're tucked away in a sub menu here:

You select size, material, snug or mid fit, and quantity. Says it's free postage, not sure if that's right though. Let me know how you get on!
