Just doing a few scans from some old Black Echoes and come across the 500th All-nighter advert and a photo of the Casino on the same page.  Might interest some of you.

As it states with Dickie's chart, he was playing all those tracks on his Radio Hallam radio show at the time.

Each of the 60's NS cuts got played once over a period of some weeks, the 'newer releases' (Revelation, Tata Vega, etc) he would play most weeks for a period of time.    GREAT DAYS.

Was he also DJ'ing at Clifton Halls niters in Rotherham by then ?

A mate of mine snagged the Casino sign by hiring a  steeplejack when it was being demolished.

yeah seen something on YT about a guy who got the sign......had it planted on his lawn Mt Lee Santa Monica style

and the 5th Anniversary Oldies All-nighter Advert from January 31st 1981

Remember coaxing a couple of my mates, Chaddy & Bry Millard, back to the Casino for the Oldies 5th anniversary,  they hadn't been for 3 or 4 years.

Bryan had just got a big shiny white Triumph Stag so we larged it and went in that. The "Big Time" entrance was marred slightly when Bryan reversed into a bollard and bent the back bumper on the way there......how he laughed

I can't remember when CH started mate - must have been around 1981? Richard was on at CH initially as you probably know - and then the politics kicked in as I understand it. Lots from that list were played at CH - some uncovered by then.
