Been playing this recently and was wondering if any of you "spotters" knew anything about this Chi Chi character!?

Brilliant midtempo ender, I know Rob Holmes has played this a few times but apart from that, nothing!

I believe that Chi Chi also recorded under the name Chi Chi Mcauley. She cut a few "Spectorpop" singles for Red Bird the strongest being " I know he loves me"

(Red Bird 10-004) from 1964...which I own. "Just let it happen" was record two years later I think.

"If your gonna love me" was played by Carl Willingham a few years back.

She remains a fairly mysterious and elusive figure as most girl group style singer of that generation tend to be, but "just let it happen" is a truly wonderful record....soaring strings and rolling drums and a heartfelt yearning vocal.

I managed to secure Mr Franklin one about a year ago.... wink.gif
