Guest Paul Franklin Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Dear Soul Friends, I wanted to share the sad news of the passing of a dear friend and soul fan - Frank 'Frankie' Harrington who left us last weekend. Frankie was a genuine nice guy and became a friend to many on the respective Northern and Modern scenes. Frankie spent much of his spare (and working) time as a London Black Cabbie picking vinyl, developing his taste and knowledge after growing up in Nottingham around the mid 70s Northern and Funk scene. His family are aware of how much soul and his friends from the scene meant to him and wanted to share the details for his funeral: Weds 24th July. Leaving at 11:30am from 53 Abbs Cross Lane, Hornchurch, RM12 4XL. Service at Midday at, Upminster Crematorium, Ockendon Road, RM14 2UY. Florist we are using is Tulipa 01708 477778 Paul Franklin
