Alabama, USA, that is, for induction into the Birmingham Record Collectors' Hall of Fame on Sunday August 18.  These 3 legendary singer/songwriter/musicians were involved in the Muscle Shoals/FAME scene from the start.  The BRC show is the largest Southeastern USA show and has been held annually for 29 years.  100+ tables of rock, soul, R&B, blues, country, jazz from dealers across the USA.  Saturday and Sunday August 17-18 at the Cedars Club, 301 Greensprings Ave. South.  Also to be inducted are local bluesman Henry "Gipp" Gipson, owner of the world famous "Gipp's Place" blues club in Bessemer, Alabama and Don Mosely, current owner of the Sound of Birmingham studio and former WSGN radio "Good Guy" from back in the day.  So if any of you are traveling to the States in August, Birmingham is the place to be on August 18.
