Hi People,

I was digging around in some UK 45's and came across the track below. I was going to put this straight up for sale but it's got under my skin so I'd like to find out if anything is known about it - all the usual if, when, where, opinions etc..

It seems to be a pretty rare UK only funky 70's soul dancer - best description I can come up with!

Released in 1974, with a distinct nod to Stevie Wonder, by the lady who recorded the original of Dusty's "Goin' Back" on Immediate.

Google retrieves - at least for me - only one direct reference to the 45 release of which this was the flip. It may well be a Marmite tune, but I'd be very interested for any input..

Thanks in advance..

Bit more like funky rock really, Greg?

Absolutely, perhaps :-), I don't know myself given a lot of tracks I listen to given the various tags! Just something about it that I like - maybe the blue eyed funk/soul style of a slightly earlier period. Still seems worthy of a look given it's credentials - former Immediate Starlet, rare 'B' side, UK only etc etc...
