Chicago belter loved by everyone, certainly one of the most iconic intros recorded at the windy city in the 60s (exactly as Betty EverettÂ´s “Getting mighty crowded” isnÂ´t it?) and you donÂ´t have lyrics like that anymore…

THE SOUL NOTES — DONÂ´T MAKE ME BEG/HOW LONG WILL IT LAST — WAY OUT 1001 Demo. THIS IS THE FIRST EDITION, 1001, AS IT WAS PUBLISHED LATER AS 1006 AND 1051 The “How long..” label has a faint stamp from a guy named “Bob Stern” who certainly should be severely punished (physically if necessary) for doing something so stupid…as shown in the scan, of the actual records for sale; for some reason our friend Bob did not stamp the “DonÂ´t make me beg” side, as shown in scan as well. Vinyl is M-, 70 POUNDS SOLD!!

ThatÂ´s what we all call a double-sider!!!, which one is better??? The Xoveresque and smooth “How long will it last”?, or the cool and very-much club-sound “DonÂ´t make me beg”??? my personal answer…who cares?, both are great!, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
