Guest Dan
sorry to be negative james but i don't like it at all. weak vocals, very dated-sounding track (which sounds odd, i know, but lots of 60s stuff stands up well today and some doesn't). is it the rutles? keep them coming, though Link to comment Social source share

No, it's not the Rutles. But I think in a similar way to the J J Jackson C/U, which sounds shite through the head phones but is a monster on a big allnighter sound system, I think we'll find this will come into it's own once it's played out full blast to a full dance floor. TheBigO
I kinda like the beat on this JT but agree the vocals may be a bit weak, have to hear it out loud. Oh and when have you ever had a full dance floor lol Edited June 1, 2006 by TheBigO Link to comment Social source share
Guest Matt Male
Good intro and i like the clapping chorus but the brass section is a bit weak and the organ too strong. Reminds me of something that would appear on one of those beat progs of the 60s, like The Monkees or The Banana Splits. Now they were class . M. Benji
i quite like it too but IMO way too 'mod-ish' to go massive on the northern scene, too much of a typical british mid 60s blue eyed soul production in it. i tell you what, trade it with a mod for a proper soul record Link to comment Social source share
Gert Mark
Sorry but it sounds too 60's formula pop for me. I can see it working though. Kin love the avatar . Link to comment Social source share
Guest TONY ROUNCE
click: Eddie and Ernie "You'll Come Running Back" C/U What do you think? ...I think you're shaming the good name(s) and memory of Messrs. Campbell and Johnson, is what I think. Couldn't you call it something closer to who it actually sounds like? Noddy and Big Ears, Sooty and Sweep, something like that? TONE PS: Actually I DO know who this is, but I'll keep quiet about it for you.... Link to comment Social source share

Guest mrs norman maine
It sounds like one of those bands they'd have in a groovy disco scene in a late 60's/early 70's Hammer Horror film: Amen Corner in 'Scream & Scream Again' springs to mind (though I can't actually remember what they sound like). Not my cuppa, but thanks for putting it up. I don't think you should have called it E & E though Link to comment Social source share

Dave Moore
Good Mod sounding 60s song, but too "Fourmost", "Jay and The Americans", "Tommy Good" sounding for Northern dancefloors I think. Mod dancefloors would lap it up though I reckon. Have to agree with Mr Rounce though.....Eddie and Ernie?!! You cheeky pup! Here's another discovery, from last year. I've included more of this track as obviously there was not enough of the "Eddie and Ernie" c/u for everyone to apreciate how good it is! This is the "Detroit Executives - Just Say You Love Me" C/U, I normally play it at +3 or +4, this is a normal speed recording. I don't think this could be accused of being "too mod" "too much organ" "too funky" "too pop"or "too rocky horror picture show"? Feedback (negative or positive) encouraged. click: Detroit Executives "Just Say You Love Me" Edited June 2, 2006 by James Trouble Link to comment Social source share
