Dave N Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Hi can anybody advise current prices please for these two records on British motown in Ex or better condition.
Guest Dale Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Dave Two nice picture sleeve Four Tops- Ask The Lonely ep's £15 and £20....on Musicstacks
AlanB Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Four Tops TMG 507 in nice condition sells in range £70 to £100. I bought a copy in Manship auction around 18 months ago for £84. So if I was to put a single value on it I would say £85. I don't know about Kiss Me Baby.
Dave N Posted July 7, 2013 Author Posted July 7, 2013 Hi thanks for the price guide on the Tops, Seen this and it has sold for more than JM Uk price guide and think I might have to speed a little more than I had planned to, it would seem the prices for Uk items may be on the up.
AlanB Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I see both are listed in JM's UK guide at £45 back in 2005. You can see more recent ebay sales for them on Popsike: https://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php?searchtext=for+tops+ask+the+lonely+tmg+507&thumbs=&currsel=&sortord=&x=0&y=0&incldescr=1 https://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php?pagenum=1&searchtext=stevie+wonder+kiss+me+baby+tmg+505&incldescr=&sortord=ddate&thumbs=&currsel= I have noticed that prices for UK TMGs have jumped over the last few years, as have other UK label records of northern/mod interest.
Pete S Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 £30 to £50 maximum on Four Tops. £50 to £75 for Stevie Wonder.
Dennyj Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Not quite "on topic" but I found a copy of "Ask the lonely" (not the EP) on Australian Stateside a couple o days ago - sadly it's VG-, but I couldn't leave it there for $3 ! 1
AlanB Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Hi thanks for the price guide on the Tops, Seen this and it has sold for more than JM Uk price guide and think I might have to speed a little more than I had planned to, it would seem the prices for Uk items may be on the up. If you're still looking for the Four Tops TMG 507, there is a copy on eBay finishing in a few days and still at a low price.
Dave N Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 Hi Alan Thanks for your reply, I have seen this and is on my watch items, hope it stays around the bid price or I will still be looking, once again thanks. Daven
