Sylvia Thomas - At Last / So Will I (Bamboo) - VG - £25 NOW £20

Wonderful mid-tempo, oh so soulful vocals! Rarer multi-colored palm trees variant issue of this one, label a bit worn/stained and lots of light scuffing on the wax, but plays at least VG++. No disappointments on this winner.

 

Melvin Davis - Save It (Never Too Late) / This Love Was Meant To Be (Mala) - VG - £18 NOW £15 SOLD

Yet another that's seen better days, but plays fantastic despite. Label wear and some marks and light scuffing on the wax, but what a great uptempo northern tune! Blue label variant that seems to be a bit harder? 

 

Crystal Motion - You're My Main Squeeze (Sound Gems) VG ++ £15  SOLD

Very clean copy that unfortunately has a bit off-centre labels and a hairline inaudible crack about 1cm from the edge in. Plays lovely like an EX copy and with proper handling will have a lot of life still. Stunning modern/crossover classic! 

 

Thelma Jones - Stronger / Never Leave Me (Barry) - VG-  £10 

100mph stormer! Rough copy but as they say "great for DJ'ing". Plays at VG+.

 

Madeline Bell - Picture Me Gone (Philips) EX  £15 NOW £10

tiniest label marks only. blue label variant of this big oldie!

 

Howard Tate - Glad I Knew Better / Get It While You Can (Verve) EX- £15

Excellent tune with a great early funk edge to it. Ballad flip is sublime as well. 

 

Eddie & Ernie - The Cat / I'm Goin' For Myself (Eastern) - VG+ - £8

Another great tune from a great pair! 

 

Oscar Toney Jr. - Ain't That True Love / For Your Precious Love (BELL) - EX dh - £8

Great little R&B tinged Twisted Wheel northern with a fantastic deep flip. 

 

Jackie Lee - Your P-E-R-S-O-N-A-L-I-T-Y / Try My Method (Mirwood) VG - £5

Needs little introduction! Fabulous Mirwood sound from the venerable Jackie Lee. Another "great for DJ'ing" copy.
