Chalky Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) It isn't the same George Clinton (Parliaments etc). He's white for a start. There was a previous topic and I think photo of him if you search SS. Edited June 24, 2013 by chalky

SHEFFSOUL Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 finally found some history..but the track PDRFM..mustve first been played almost as a new release (bit like the skullsnaps) so who first played it on the northern scene? was it from the album, which may have sparked the UK 45 release?
Chalky Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I was told it was a Mecca spin first then a Cleethorpes biggie?
Jim G Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Ian Levine played George Clinton from the new release album at the time, it was released in UK as of result of northern soul demand at the time.

Rich B Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Sisters Love was originally issued on UK Mowest and then re-issued on black Tamla Motown due to northern demand. Can't say I have ever come across a US 45 of it.
